Australian Open Draw - WTA

Australian Open draw is out with Serena Williams landing in Victoria Azarenka's half and Agnieszka Radwanska landing in Maria Sharapova's half.

Possible quarter-final opponents are :
Victoria Azarenka - Sara Errani
Serena Williams - Petra Kvitova
Agnieszka Radwanska - Li Na and
Angelique Kerber - Maria Sharapova

Kvitova has a really tough quarter, with an opener against Schiavone, possibly gets Robson in the second round and Stephens in the 3rd round.

Caroline Wozniacki opens against Sabine Liscki, another tough opener.

Shvedova a possible 3rd round opponent of Serena Williams.

Serena Williams and Venus Williams are in the opposite halves of the draw.

Azarenka opens against Niculescu, while Sharapova gets Puchkova in the opener. Serena opens against  Edina Gallovits-Hall, while Radwanska opens against Bojana Bobusic.

Kerber opens against Svitolina, Li Na opens against Sesil Karatantcheva, Errani opens against Carla Saurez Navaro, while Kvitova gets a block-buster clash of former grand slam champions against Franchesca Schiavone.

A possible block-buster 3rd round match could be between Venus and Sharapova, Cibulkova should have no trouble till the 4th round where she might face Sharapova or Venus.

Azarenka has an easy draw and should make the semi-final at least. Serena has a tricky possible 3rd round encounter against Shvedova, else she should not have trouble till the quarter-finals, where her first real test will come either from Kvitova or Schiavone or Stephens.

Li Na gets a possible 3rd round encounter against Cristea. Li should make the quarter-final at least. Another block-buster possible 3rd round could be Jankovic - Ivanovic. Barthel seeded to play Agnieszka in the 3rd round.
